| keep this in mind... -These are old cars, you will have to maintain them. -NA's are cheaper to maintain than TT's -You can kill yourself just as easily racing around in an NA, TT or an '89 seabring so be responsible. -You don't want to end up car-poor, get a good part time job. -If you end up going to college where it snows you may struggle with the Z. Also, don't put lambo doors on it. My background. I picked up my 1990 NA Z32 when I was 17. It was rust-free well maintained TX car. It was my only car through multiple winters in MN while on summer tires. I made it work but it wasn't easy, or all that safe. Even making $15/hr doing IT work in high school it also wasn't easy when my injectors went out and I had to shell out $1k in maintenance to have a shop work on my car. Besides that, it ran like a champ with regular maintenance. As for insurance, I'd suggest going with liability only for cars under $5k. Keeps it cheap.
